Antique Vintage 1908 – 1920 Telephone Pea Box made by Card Seed Company out of Fredonia, New York.

Card Seed Company is famous for their advertising and boxes of seeds, and their items are highly collectible! This company started off strong in 1908 but soon petered out by 1920 for unexplained reasons.
These boxes show a neat form of lithography using a time-consuming technique called stippling. An artist with a pen with a needle point would create individual dots until the image was complete. The technique and the results are really impressive!
